I write.

It’s all I have ever wanted to do, aside from being a Major League Baseball player or maybe a rock star. But since I can’t hit a curve or carry a tune, I write.

For more than two decades, I’ve been in journalism in a variety of roles, including (but not limited to) clerk, entertainment editor, sports copy editor, gopher, researcher, transcriber, digital producer, metro editor, coffee-fetcher and reporter.

I’ve been reporting since 2015, and it’s been by far the best time of my career and my life.

People put their trust in me and let me bear witness to moments in their lives that are big and small, joyful and heartbreaking, poignant and funny. And then, they allow me the privilege of writing about it.

What better job can there be for a short, mouthy kid from South Jersey?
